The Tregoning Closure Residents’ Association (TCRA) was established in 2018 with the primary goal of creating a safe, secure, and peaceful environment for all residents. Prior to the implementation of the Closure, the area experienced high levels of crime, including home invasions and hijackings. Since its establishment, crime statistics within the SLCAP/TCRA area have remained exceptionally low.

Through 24/7 patrols, manned booms, and proactive security measures provided by SLCAP, the Closure has become a safe and welcoming community. Residents are able to walk, run, and cycle freely within the area, while children regularly play outdoors under the watchful eyes of parents who can enjoy true peace of mind.

The Closure also boasts beautiful northern and western views of Johannesburg, while the nearby Ridge contributes to abundant birdlife and a tranquil natural environment.
