Better Linksfield is Here!

SLCAP proudly launched Better Linksfield in April 2025, under the

Better Neighbourhoods’ umbrella. Better Neighbourhoods was established in Bedfordview in 2021 as there was a desperate need for a clean-up campaign.

We are making a difference!

While the purpose of all the suburbs under the Better Neighbourhoods umbrella are identical, each suburb operates independently. All funds raised in each suburb supports that suburb only.

You have no doubt seen the difference Better Linksfield is making. With your continued support we will do even more. We are cleaning up Linksfield and Fairwood only. If you are a resident of Linksfield or Fairwood please support Better Linksfield now.

Our key activities include

Cleaning, Weeding, and Restoring

We employ a dedicated team to conduct ongoing clean-ups of our main roads, pavements, and public spaces. This includes litter removal, weeding, painting kerbs, and revitalizing neglected areas.

Pothole Repairs

Potholes are a danger and a blight. We are making our streets safer by repairing infrastructure that has been neglected.

Job Creation

Every contribution is an investment in our community. The Better Linksfield initiative provides sustained employment to previously unemployed individuals who make up our dedicated clean-up and maintenance teams.
